Background

I work with adults of all ages, from college students to senior adults. I have had a private practice since 2001, but I have also worked in hospitals and rehabilitation centers, an outpatient medical practice, and psychiatric and substance abuse inpatient treatment units.

Psychological and physical well-being are intimately connected, and it is important to evaluate each person from many perspectives, including diet, exercise, and sleep patterns. I enjoy helping clients benefit from what is often called the “mind-body” interaction.

My Ph.D. is in adult clinical psychology from the University of Miami, Florida, where my research focused on the psychological and social well-being of women with breast cancer. I also have specialty training in geropsychology - working with the psychological issues of older adults.

I am licensed as a clinical psychologist in both Illinois and Indiana.
